Description

Well, I was gong to post something special for my 200th deviation...
But I might've gone in with a bit too much ambition 'v'
So, since it's gonna take me ages to finish that more special thing, I thought I'd post other things anyway :3
Maybe I'll just use it as the 250th deviation or something

For now, here's another sketchbook page! The first one I actually drew while sitting in the grass next to a little pond,
in my university's botanical garden :D And yes, of course there are merpeople living there! That dude was really nice to hang out with
until I had to go to class again, but he had some cool stories to tell...
And later, I added something that unexpectedly turned out better than I thought, a little scene from that time Sanbourne and I went exploring...
It didn't go very... smoothly, but we made it out alive and in one piece! It was kinda fun too, in hindsight :3

That all looks so fun!

I love your sketchbook pages, man. They're all so cool!
I need better descriptive words than cool... idk, they're facinating and inspiring. Plus it helps me learn more drawing techniques.
That's one of my favorite parts in art, looking at other people's art to deduce what they did, how they did it, and how I can apply it to my own art!
Which then gets me thinking about what my style of art would be considered. Imma just call it the Jay Jay style ;D

Also... that bottom bit that I really like... IT LOOKS LIKE A SCENE FROM A COMIC BOOK. LIKE A REALLY GOOD COMIC BOOK THAT I'D PROBABLY READ WAY TOO MANY TIMES BECAUSE HOO-BOY DO I SEEM TO BE A SUCKER FOR RE-READING.

Anywho, li'l ol' Jay needs to get back to her charcoal drawing because if I wanna get this baby in my school's art show then Imma gonna have ta get it all done and finished by tonight so I can get it approved and set up tomorrow morning :3

I forget, have you done anything in charcoal that you've put on DeviantArt? I don't remember if you have... BUT CHARCOAL IS SO COOL, AND LIKE SO PRETTY. I hope mine turns out okay...
